Script Readings at the Studio

We invite Judith’s students to use the Studio for readings of their scripts, with no charge for using the space. I strongly encourage all writer-directors to hear their scripts read out loud as a crucial part of the development process – so I want to help you make such readings possible. Use of the Studio for readings is subject to availability – the scheduling of Judith’s classes, meetings, and Studio events is of course the priority.

There are these requirements:

• You must be taking or have taken classes with Judith
• You must arrange casting yourself. Some of the actors in the reading must be students of Judith’s. They don’t all have to be students of Judith, but at least one. If you don’t know any of the Studio actors, you could contact them using our new program of forwarding casting notices (see Casting Announcements)
• You must arrange for pick-up of a key from John so you can make all scheduling arrangements yourself on the Studio calendar
• You must clean up, and respect that the needs of Judith’s classes come first
